Hey friends! Okay, so sorry, no pictures again this time! The sad thing is we actually had the camera with us and we just never thought to take it out and get a picture! Oh well! (I added this one above a little late, which was sent to me by someone so at least I have one picture now! Jason and I are on the porch just to the right of the top of the stairs, I'm in pink, he's in blue)
It was a beautiful weekend at Fort Caswell, where we went for the Providence Spring Marriage Retreat. It was a last minute thing that we even got to go, so it was a special blessing! A baseball game was moved to Thursday, opening up the weekend, and last Monday they still had two spots available!
We met some really fun couples and had a great time. David and Cathy Horner spoke for most of the sessions, then they had a panel for Q & A and on Sunday morning Leon spoke. It was an encouragement to us that most married couples, even our pastors, have basically the same conversations, questions, frustrations, and things to figure out and work through! We left feeling encouraged, blessed, and with lots of fun memories! We had beautiful weather even though it was forecasted to rain, and we got to play lots of fun games too! I was introduced to Mexican Train Dominoes (watch out Jon and Laura!) and Bunco - super fun!
We hope to make it a tradition to go back each year. We found out that Johnny and Beth Evans are the speakers for next year! If anyone would like to join us, be on the lookout for registration next spring! I think the dates are already set for May 21-23.
Lots of love to all!

uh-oh, looks like a new game to master! :) I'm glad you guys had fun! But, seriously...you forgot to take out your camera? That's worse than the "my batteries are dead" excuse! :)
