Make Room for Baby!

Well, this is just the beginning of our nursery transformation but I'll try to post some pics as we go. We had a super productive weekend which was awesome. We picked a color and decided just to go for it!

During...the paint goes up! This pic is from my phone so the color is a little dull but the later pics show a truer shade.

Our sweet friend Jane stopped by to help which was fabulous and made things fly by!

My next project will be making a slipcover for the glider and possibly curtains. Since I've only done two sewing projects in my life this will be a serious test of my skills (and patience) but I'm gonna give it a whirl and see what happens. Wish me luck!

And this is overdue, but here's my August 13 pick - 4 months to go from this pic. If I'm looking a little blah, it's b/c it's about 11:55pm - we got it in just in time :-). More pics to come - I'm definitely bigger in the last couple weeks!
