WE HAVE THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!

I am officially blogging from home on our own internet, on our own computer!!!!!!!!! And it took me less than 10 seconds to get on here! This is insane! Seriously, on our old laptop, we had to turn it on and let it "warm up" for about 10 minutes before you could even think about clicking on an icon and having it respond with more than the whirring of a fan from somewhere deep inside. So now, I can actually update our blog!

So, pretty crazy story how this all happened...thank you Lord first of all! Jason passed his national boards (YAY!!!!!) so since that includes a pay increase we decided we would go back to the internet once we bought a new laptop that didn't sound like a plane taking off every time you turned it on. Well, several weeks ago in our LIFE class we happened to mention our sad laptop as part of a story about something - I don't even know what - and the next week one of our teachers pulled Jason aside and told us they had a PC about 4 yrs old at home they were no longer using and that we could have it if we wanted it. Of course we were in shock, but he brought it to Jason the next night at bible study and voila! We have a computer! Well, we only got the actual computer part, but it was a lot less expensive to get a monitor and keyboard than a new laptop (especially thanks to a Best Buy sale) so here we are! And it works great! And just tonight we had our internet connected - I can hardly believe I'm typing in this post right now and the computer isn't whirring or shutting down on me! :-)

So, I know I've made several empty promises about how I was going to be better about putting up pictures and what not, but this time I can really back it up! And just to show you I mean business, I'm putting in a picture as a deposit on more to come. I'll be back soon!
