Christmas with the Perry's and Humphreys' - at the beach the week after Christmas
We celebrated Dad's 70th birthday this year too! Doesn't he look great! ;-)
Now time for the first round of presents for the kiddos! We just got gifts for the kids this year, which was really nice in cutting back on figuring out what to get everybody! ;-)

This was our big exciting discovery! We started out on a walk and happened upon all these really beautiful shells and tons of starfish! Joshua has no fear so he went right over and picked one up. We carried it back to show everyone at the house, but we're not sure if it was still alive or not. We think it was dead. Oh well, sorry Mr. Starfish. Hopefully you had already passed on!
Lydia did some Christmas baking in her new Easy Bake Oven!
We got Mario Kart for Christmas, which kept everyboyd entertained quite a bit! Except for Marianna, she didn't seem to care for it much.

Okay, now shift gears to my birthday - here we are celebrating with cupcakes that Kathy made for me - yum!

My camera didn't like the freezing cold but we got this shot before it died. What a fun day!
And somehow in the midst of our skiing adventure, I lost my cell phone. It worked out okay though because I joined Jason's plan, got a way better phone, and unlimited texting! Text me!

Text me!Okay, so fast forward another few weeks to the snow weekend. Jason was out of town on a men's trip so I stayed with Su-Anne and Erin, and a few other friends came to join us. We had so much fun and I was so glad to have them with Jason gone. The Lord always provides!
